Qatar’s
monthly Consumer Price Index (CPI) fell by 0.2 percent in January
when compared to December 2009. The CPI now stands at 121.19
(2006=100), down 5.65 percent from the beginning of 2009. The index
is a measure of the general price level of goods and services
consumed by the average household in Qatar.
