Regional Workshop on Demographic Projections |

Under the patronage of HE Sheikh Hamad bin Jabor bin Jassim Al Thani, Secretary General of the Planning Council, the Secretariat General of the Planning Council organizes in cooperation with GCC Secretariat General and Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) a regional workshop on Demographic Projections in Millennium hotel during 20 24 May 2007.

Attendees are statisticians and demographers from UAE, Bahrain,
Oman, Kuwait, KSA, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Palestine, Lebanon, Egypt
and Yemen, as well as the host country Qatar.

Participants will be trained on use of United Nations and US Census
Bureau software in Demographic Projections. |
