Qatar
Statistics Authority is hosting Dr. H. Brunborg, Senior Researcher,
Division for Social and Demographic research, Statistics Norway in
the period 11-18 January 2009. |

This visit comes within the framework of technical cooperation
program between QSA and Statistics Norway.
During his visit, Dr. Brunborg will give a technical advise on
aspects related to population projections for the specialized QSA
team in this area. Dr. Brunborg will also give a presentation on
Population Registration System in Norway. Statistics Norway has made
significant advances in moving from traditional systems of census
taking to register-based population census system.
