Training Program for Updating Frame of LFSS, 2009 |

Qatar
Statistics Authority launched a two days (9-10 June) training
program for field enumerators who will carry out an up-to-date
listing of building, housing units, households and labor gatherings
frame, in preparations for the upcoming Labor Force Sample Survey,
2009. |

The field operations of this listing will commence on Thursday, June
11th 2009 and will continue for a month, coming out with an
up-to-date data regarding distribution of housing units, households
and labor gatherings according to municipalities, zones and blocks
which has been selected as stage one sample of the Labor Force
Sample Survey, 2009
Approximately, 150 persons participated in this training program, of
whom some 110 (enumerators and head of teams) will be selected to
perform the field operations under the supervision of the Survey
Office.
Data collected through this listing operation will represent a frame
for the selection of the final sample of households and labor
gatherings that will be covered by the Labor Force Sample Survey,
2009.
