the Census of Population, Housing and Establishments |

Statistics
Authority has published the Preliminary results of the Census of
Population, Housing and Establishments 2010, which is the biggest
statistical operation that's been conducted in Qatar, which includes
all individuals, households, Buildings, housing units and
establishments in the country, where it would provide the latest
statistics, information and indicators that's to support the
national developments strategies 2011-2016. |

Census data show a total population of 1,696,563 as of April
20, 2010, a growth in population of 128% since 2004.
In line with the National Development Strategy this Census used
handheld computers and the internet to collect data, edit the data,
and produce summary results in record time with better quality.
