In line with QSA strategic goal to satisfy users demands and to facilitate online accessibility, FMTQS
has been developed with an easy and dynamic interface to allow easy
data access. End users such as researchers, analysts, trade
specialists, businessmen/women and policy makers, decision-makers
can now easily inquire about import, export and re-export data from
Qatar Statistics Authority foreign trade database.
FMTQS allows users to build their own tables, by item (international classifications and codes), country of origin or destination, year(s), port(s). Through FMTQS, data can be downloaded into Excel spreadsheet enabling users to build customized reports.
This tool aims to assist businessmen to promote their business in general and develop Qatar’s import and export opportunities in particular. The system will provide information at fingertips and will answer many questions which are now being addressed to QSA on regular basis and will thus reduce the time lag in the supply of data.
The system is
